Responsibilities
l Coordinate and monitor shipments of goods, ensuring timely delivery to last mile warehouse.
l Request and submit documentation such as shipping documents, bills of lading, and freight invoices to comply with regulations and facilitate smooth logistics operations.
l Provide shipment updates to our internal teams such as production, planning, and web.
l Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and warehouses to arrange transportation and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
l Ensures all drivers comply with Company, Federal, State and Local laws and regulations. (DOT/HOS) –Ensure that all drivers follow correct check in/out procedures and perform required pre-trip safety checks.
l Familiarity with supply chain processes and logistics operations
l Generate and provide necessary reports in a timely manner to support management decisions.
Qualifications
l High school diploma or international equivalent.
l 2 years of relevant in logistics coordination experience preferred
l Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with drivers, customers, and team members
l Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
l Proficiency in TMS (Samsara etc.) and other relevant software (MS Office, Google Suites etc.)
Knowledge of phone etiquette and experience using phone systems for dispatch purposes
Salary: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
