Roma Scaffolding is in search of a High-level Payments Coordinator to join our Project Management team. The payments coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of the billing process. This includes creating and sending invoices, tracking payments, and resolving any billing discrepancies.
We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role. A background in construction or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
· Coordinate schedules for installations and removals of Sidewalk Shed and Fence.
· Schedule field measurement and maintain update-to-date database of installed equipment.
· Ensure all jobs are properly filed with DOB- initiate filings, submit for amendments, and coordinate close outs.
· Prepare schedule of values and issues requests for funding to NYCHA for newly installed equipment.
· Prepare monthly invoices for installations, removals, and rentals.
· Coordinate with project managers and other team members to obtain necessary payment back-ups.
· Communicate with project managers and subcontractors to resolve any billing discrepancies.
· Monitor funding balances for all contracts and prepare requests for increase.
· Organize daily Sidewalk Shed maintenance reports and submit them in NYCHA portal to support payments.
· Coordinate with maintenance team to close out NYCHA issued deficiencies.
· Provide regular updates and reports to management for installation schedules and payment status.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree required.
· Previous experience with Local Law and NYCHA.
· Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel is highly preferred.
· Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively with others.
