Mind Works specializes in children between the ages of 3 to 17 years and their caregivers. This is accomplished through an integrated healthcare approach to treatment that includes psychological, educational, developmental assessments; evidenced based psychotherapy; and medication assisted treatment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Required Board Certification Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner currently licensed without restrictions in the state of Texas
· Evaluation and management of new patients, requiring: a comprehensive history; a comprehensive examination; and medical decision-making of high complexity
· Evaluation and management of established patients, requiring: a comprehensive history; a comprehensive examination; medical decision-making of high complexity
· Weigh the risks and benefits of initiating treatment with psychotherapeutic medications
· Conduct comprehensive multi-informant, multi-modal, multi-disciplinary assessments
· Conduct psychotherapy with teens and adolescents
· Routine monitoring for medication benefits and side-effects
· Provide comprehensive assessments, psychoeducation, and clearly defined treatment expectations for different diagnosis such as ADHD, Behavioral, Anxiety, Insomnia, Depressive or Obsessive Compulsive Disorders
· Consider co-morbid developmental language disorder, Specific Learning Disorder or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
· Provide parent management/skills training or other behavioral interventions that can be used at home and/or school
· Medication assisted treatments for ADHD, Anxiety, Depressive and Obsessive Compulsive Disorders
· Maintain an open line of communication with care providers, patients, and their family members in order to efficiently address treatment concerns
· Performs other duties as assigned

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
