We are seeking a Graphics / Multimedia Specialist that has experience supporting the federal government, commercial, and non-governmental organizations. Considered candidates will have the opportunity to support our nation’s public health initiatives through direct work with CDC. The Graphics / Multimedia Specialist will be responsible for creating and managing visual content across various platforms to support the CDC's marketing, branding, and communication efforts. This role requires a creative individual with strong design and multimedia skills, capable of producing high-quality graphics, videos, and animations that effectively communicate our brand message.

General Duties:
Graphics Design:
- Develop and design visually appealing graphics for digital and print media, including brochures, flyers, social media posts, website graphics, and email campaigns.
- Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.
- Create within established guidelines specific to the intended style and tone of the organization.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to create a seamless experience.
- Review and proofread all visual content to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with brand standards.
- Staying in the loop and on top of the latest standards, changes, trends in visual design field.
Multimedia Production:
- Create and edit videos, animations, and other multimedia content for use in marketing campaigns, presentations, and social media.
- Work with stakeholders to develop storyboards and scripts for multimedia projects.
- Manage multiple design and multimedia projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.
- Implement feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve designs and multimedia projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, Multimedia Specialist, or similar role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing graphic design and multimedia projects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and other design software.
- Experience with photography and videography, including editing and post-production.
- Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web design principles is a plus.
- Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colors, fonts and layouts.
- Ability to meet deadlines while working on team projects.
- Attention to visual details.
