Moran Transportation Corporation provides regional, less than truckload (LTL) services throughout the states of Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Missouri markets. Transportation Customer Service Manager $45-$60K Per Year (DOE) - Salaried Position
- $45,000 - $60,000 Depending on Experience
- Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage team of customer service representatives
- Respond promptly to phone calls and emails
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Address client inquiries and issues with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement standardized level of service.
- Troubleshoot customers’ shipments
- Maintain SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) with key customers profiles (contacts, special requirements, contract rates and preferred routings/services/carriers).

Job Requirements:
- Excellent oral, written, and listening skills are a must
- Strong multitasking abilities and a team-oriented approach.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and exceptional organizational skills.
- College degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Problem solving, customer service, teamwork, planning and organizing, adaptability, and dependability skill sets are critical to the success of this position.
- Excellent phone skills as you communicate with our customers via phone, email.
- Attention to the small details when entering data into the system.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks: answer phones, data entry, entering costs into the shipping system.
- Flexibility with a positive attitude and ability to handle multiple customer inquiries in a fast-paced business environment.
- Freight experience within the trucking/transportation industry.
