Senior Database Administrator is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and implementing moderately complex databases and providing support for associated application interfaces; define and enforce best practices for database design and provide Tier II support of enterprise data to support decision-making and reporting; and develop policies and procedures related to the development and support of new and ongoing systems to ensure the availability of database products. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of experience or a MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience is required. The combined experience must be in one or more Data Base Administration, experience with Unix/Linux/RedHat or Windows servers, Enterprise level application support, and/or experience in Production and Development environments.
