SUMMARY
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing a welcoming and professional impression. This role is essential for managing front desk operations, including handling inquires, directing visitors, maintain distribution of purchase orders and mail, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative support role

Prior experience operating a telephone switchboard

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office software applications

Ability to maintain consistent attendance, arriving on time and prepared for all shifts, meetings, and appointments.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES, EXPECTATIONS, AND BEHAVIORS include, but are not limited to, the following:

Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Screens voicemails from the main phoneline and distributes them to the appropriate team member.

Receives mail, documents and packages on behalf of the staff and distributes items as appropriate.

Receives customer service inquiries and purchase orders via email and distributes to the appropriate Customer Service Representative for response or order entry.

Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean and organized.

Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.

Collect and scan BOL's to electronically file into appropriate folders.
- Schedule appointments and meetings, and manage conference room bookings.

Assist with any other general clerical duties that may be requested by other departments.

Provide general information about the company and its services to visitors and callers.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Uphold company values and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The essential functions of this job require the employee to perform the following physical activities:
