Summary of Duties:
The Environmental, Health and Safety Manager is responsible for planning, establishing, implementing, maintaining, and monitoring the Health, Safety, and Environment Management Systems to control or eliminate risk related to health, safety, and environment at North and South industrial sites. With the committed support of management, promotes a culture focused on safety and injury prevention.
Qualifications Required:
Qualification 1: A bachelor’s degree in safety, health, and/or industrial hygiene or related degree and at least five years’ experience.
Qualification 2: Strong understanding of state and federal safety and health related regulations.
Qualification 3: Prior experience with ISO 14001 and environmental management systems is required.
Qualification 4: CSP certification (Certified Safety Professional), CIH, or ASP preferred, but not required.
Qualification5: Extensive knowledge of OSHA regulations and requirements, environmental regulations, International Material Data System (IMDS) and REACH.
Qualification 6: Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) along with familiarity with DOT, NFPA, and ANSI standards and/or requirements.
Qualification 7: Ability to read and understand safety, health, and environmental regulations and ability to understand the implications of regulations.
Travel Requirements: Up to 5% travel

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
