Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Sterilize and maintain dental equipment
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform dental charting and documentation using CAD and Epic software
- Assist with medical coding and billing processes
- Provide support in pediatric dental procedures
Requirements:
- Dental Assistant certification or relevant experience
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and equipment
- Familiarity with medical coding and documentation practices
- Proficiency in using CAD and Epic software for dental records management
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Note: Experience in pediatrics is preferred but not required.
