Living Unlimited, Inc. is seeking a full-time, Regional Manager in Williamsport, PA. The Regional Manager independently provides direction and is responsible for the day-to-day management of rehabilitation services for their assigned region. The position requires supervision of direct care staff and is an advanced, professional position requiring autonomous decision-making regarding staff performance, and communication/negotiation with community agency personnel. This position is a full-time, exempt position, starting at $48,500 per year.
What you’ll do:
- Conducts intake interviews with potential clients, explains services and developing goal plans.
- Reviews a variety of standardized measures, evaluations, medical reports, and observations to evaluate client skills and potential for services.
- Determines necessary services to assist clients in reaching goals. Communicates required tasks and objectives to Direct Service Professional according to client goals.
- Negotiates services and modifies the service process as necessary with a variety of payers. Negotiates and advocates for services with community agencies.
- Monitors client progress through case management to assure compliance with rehabilitation plan and assure cost effectiveness of services.
- Supervises Direct Service Professionals to ensure implementation of rehabilitation plan. Provides guidance, clinical direction, information, and skills training to Direct Service Professionals.
- Makes client assignments based on employee location, availability, skills, client need and other factors. Provides Direct Service Professionals with related case data needed to initiate services.
- Coordinates flow of clinical and administrative documentation among family, team members and payers to assure compliance with program standards.
- Assist with marketing of the program by meeting with potential funding sources, making group presentations, and identifying needs for services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a human service, rehabilitation, and/or social sciences field with two years of experience or associate degree in human service, rehabilitation, and/or social sciences fields with four years of experience in the human services field.
- Ability to demonstrate advanced knowledge of disability populations and the rehabilitation community.
- Demonstrates high level of organizational skills, leadership, and problem-solving ability.
- The position requires self-motivation and the ability to complete tasks independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to relate to a variety of individuals and functioning levels.
