Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in comfort of their home as well as in the community.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene (as needed), meal preparation, budgeting, and help in the community.
- Support individuals in participating in social and recreational activities
- Ensure residents' safety and well-being at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents
- Advocate for resident rights and promote independence
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans
Experience:
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred
