Description
Our Cabin Service Supervisor is responsible for the following essential functions
- Oversight of front line employees (cleaning crew)
- Communicating with agents to ensure on time service.
- Driving cleaning teams to aircraft on a need basis.
- Creating work schedules for cleaning teams
- Logging service information for clients.
- Following verbal or written instructions given by the upper management.
- Conducting daily safety audits of front line employees as well as cleaning and security audits on aircraft.
- Conducting daily uniform inspection.
- Monitoring and administering company policies and documenting discussions with employees about performance matters.
- Participating in the research of service failures or recreating the same in order to prevent future occurrences.
- Effectively communicating via electronic email or verbal communication to management of daily operations.
- Participating in monthly Safety committees or any other committees in order to effectively operate the business model accordingly.
- Monitoring and adjusting daily or weekly staffing levels in accordance with budget guidelines.
- Such functions require the employee to walk or stand 85-90% of a given workday in order to supervise, observe and assist front line employees in the performance of their duties. The remaining 10-15% of the workday consists of reporting, record-keeping and other desk work.
- When necessary the ability to lift, push, pull up to 200lbs (Male); 175lbs (female)
- When necessary the ability to bend, lift and pull bags of up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to drive on the airport ramp.
Our Passenger Service Supervisor is responsible for the following essential functions
- Oversight of front line employees (e.g., passenger service assistants, baggage handlers, skycaps)
- Following verbal or written instructions given by the upper management.
- Conducting daily safety audits of front line employee as well as essential equipment (wheelchairs, aisle chairs, etc.)
- Assisting and, on occasion, substituting for front line employees in providing assistance to passengers with disabilities. Such assistance necessarily includes pushing and pulling passenger-occupied wheelchairs throughout all areas of the airport (including from airport curbside drop off areas onto jetways and aircraft and from aircraft to the baggage claim area), assisting with passenger luggage, and assisting with lifting wheelchair-bound passengers into and out of aircraft seats.
