Cornerstone Treatment Facilities, Inc./CTFP, Inc./Premier Health Care
Services encompass the following psychiatric residential treatment facilities
(PRTFs): Silver Linings Treatment Center, Hope Gardens Treatment
Center, Jackson Springs Treatment Center, and Cornerstone Treatment
Facility. Each facility is a comprehensive and structured 12-bed CARF
accredited residential treatment center located in Anson, Moore, and
Raeford counties in North Carolina.
We provide psychiatric and trauma focused treatment services for males
and females, ages 9-17, who have a significant history of emotional,
mental, and/or behavioral issues. The clinical programs at Cornerstone
Treatment Facilities, Inc./CTFP, Inc./Premier Health Care Services have
been designed to address the needs of adolescents and teenagers.
The vacant teacher position is in our Silver Linings Treatment Center site,
which is located in Raeford, North Carolina. Our teachers provide
instruction to students with mental health conditions, emotional disabilities,
learning disabilities and/or behavioral disabilities. Our teachers ensure
educational best practices and academic interventions to enrich the
classroom.
Students receive an individualized treatment plan, geared to meet their
personal needs. A professional team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social
workers, therapists, nurses, and teachers work closely with each resident
to assist our students to achieve their therapeutic and education goals.
Duties:
- Create engaging lesson plans tailored to students' needs and learning styles
- Implement effective teaching strategies to promote student learning and engagement
- Provide individualized support to students requiring extra assistance, including tutoring and early intervention
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports child welfare and childhood development
- Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and other professionals to ensure holistic student development
- Utilize early childhood education principles to enhance the learning experience
- Incorporate innovative methods to teach math concepts effectively
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (preferred)
- Teaching certification/license (preferred)
- Proven experience in teaching or working with children (required)
- Knowledge of early childhood education best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Passion for educating and empowering young learners
