Job Purpose
The Level II Database and Data Manager will assist in the development and maintenance of data management strategies, ensuring compliance with long-term data rights requirements. This role involves establishing procedures for data cataloguing, collection, handling, and archiving, as well as providing oversight of data handling procedures to ensure adherence to security classification guidance (SCG).
Duties and Responsibilities
The job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assist with the development and maintenance of a Data Management Plan to outline the strategy for meeting long-term data rights requirements.
- Establish procedures for cataloguing, collecting, handling, and archiving test data and test documentation.
- Ensure all data handling procedures are up-to-date and compliant with security classification guidance (SCG).
- Assist with and provide oversight of Partnerships and Capabilities Directorate (N3) data handling procedures to ensure they always reflect current security classification guidance (SCG).
Qualifications
Minimum Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field.
- IAT Level II certifications in database management and database administration.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IA technology, NE and advanced CE.
- Mastery of the functions of the IAT Level 1 position.
- Proficiency in developing data management plans and handling procedures.
- Strong understanding of data security and classification guidelines.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Must be an US Citizen
- Must have TS/SCI clearance
