**Job Summary:** We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Therapist to join our team. The Family Therapist will work with individuals, couples, and families to provide therapeutic services aimed at improving relationships and overall mental health. **Responsibilities:** - Conduct clinical counseling sessions with individuals, couples, and families - Provide crisis management interventions when necessary - Maintain accurate and confidential medical records - Utilize medical terminology effectively in documentation - Implement motivational interviewing techniques to support clients - Collaborate with special education professionals when working with families of children with special needs - Offer addiction counseling for individuals and families dealing with substance abuse issues - Demonstrate proficiency in ICD-9 coding for accurate billing purposes - Engage in crisis intervention strategies for clients experiencing acute mental health crises - Provide specialized care for individuals suffering from PTSD **Qualifications:** - Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field - State licensure as a Family Therapist or eligibility for licensure - Strong understanding of clinical counseling principles and practices - Proficiency in crisis management and intervention techniques - Knowledge of medical records management and documentation requirements - Experience in addiction counseling and PTSD care is preferred - Familiarity with ICD-9 coding system for billing purposes Joining our team as a Family Therapist offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and families.
