Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Supervising Producer to join our team. The Supervising Producer's responsibilities include planning and scheduling hosts and guests, as well as supervising the recording, editing, and publishing of audio + video content for the podcast, as well as another weekly show for our clients at Xbox. The producer will partner with a variety of teams, including Xbox Comms, Social, Product Marketing, and Productions teams, as well as external partners and guests, all in service of assembling entertaining and informative content for gaming fans every week.
Essential Functions:
- Supervise the production and post-production of a weekly series and podcast.
- Collaborate with the Producer / Editor and Junior Editor to successfully produce each weekly show.
- Develop and produce video and audio content for the podcast, including interviews, game trailers, gameplay clips, news items, and other elements.
- Manage the podcast’s social media presence, including creating content, flagging key comments, and engaging with the podcast’s audience.
- Research and source guests for the podcast, as well as coordinate and schedule interviews.
- Edit audio content for the podcast, ensuring the audio is of the highest quality.
- Monitor and analyze podcast metrics to ensure the podcast reaches its desired audience.
- Work with the Xbox team to ensure that the podcast aligns with the brand’s goals and objectives.
- Manage the editorial calendar.
Skills:
- Knowledge of video recording software such as vMix, OBS, or XSplit.
- Knowledge of audio production software, such as Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, or Logic Pro.
- Intermediate knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut.
- Knowledge of production execution, including camera, lighting, and production workflow.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must have gaming experience and/or be an avid gamer.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in podcast production and editing.
- At least 5 years of experience working in video, film, or multimedia production.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time Hybrid role, defined as a combination of remote and in-office / On-site work within the Greater Seattle Area (King, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties). You are expected to work in the office at our client studio in Redmond at least 2 days a week, depending on project necessity. This role will be expected to work remotely when there is no onsite work. The office generally operates from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., but the days and hours of this position may vary week-to-week. Mighty Media’s workplace policies are subject to change at any time based on business necessity and manager discretion.
Additional Information:
This role will perform work for clients of the Company that continually assess their budgets and their relationship with the Company. The Company responds to these assessments appropriately when it receives them by adjusting the number of employees necessary to service the clients’ requests.
Compensation will be determined based on the applicant's skills, qualifications, and experience, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
