Your role will be vital in ensuring our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Accounts Payable: Utilize accounting software and other programs to manage accounts payable with precision.
- Vendor Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing vendors.
- Timely Bill Payments: Ensure bills are paid promptly and accurately, adhering to departmental procedures.
- Invoice Processing: Handle the processing of due invoices for payments.
- Financial Comparisons: Compare purchase orders, prices, terms of payment, and other charges.
- Data Entry: Perform accurate data entry in accounting databases.
- Bookkeeping Duties: Maintain accurate financial records and assist with general bookkeeping tasks.
Qualifications:
- Accounts Payable Experience: Proven experience in managing accounts payable is a must.
- Basic Accounting Knowledge: A solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- QuickBooks Experience: Prior experience with QuickBooks is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
- Office Equipment: Working knowledge of office equipment.
- Independent Worker: Ability to work independently and complete duties and projects with minimal supervision.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Multitasking Ability: Able to multitask, anticipate the needs of colleagues, and follow instructions.
