JOB SUMMARY
Set up & operate multiple roll, length & vision sorters in an error free, fast paced environment removing all non-conforming fasteners & foreign materials prior to pack out or bulk storage receipts for customer shipments.

- Create and maintain high levels of accuracy in all sorting activities.
- Set up and operate multiple sorters to meet production needs.
- Practice safety awareness.
- Operate floor scales & keypunch transactions.
- Provide back up to pack out and other Warehouse positions
- Maintain clean, organized & safe work area.
- Tow Motor (i.e. powered industrial truck) operation.
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Some computer literacy required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds and seldom lifting to 50lbs. Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle and/or adjust equipment. Moderate reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping and grasping. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel toed work boots or shoes. This is a full-time position at 40+ hours per week. Days and hours of work will be determined by the location. Eight (8) hour shifts are Monday through Friday, and ten (10) hour shifts are Monday through Thursday. Occasional overtime, evening and weekend work may be required to meet business demands.
