Videographer/Editor/Creative Content Strategist
What you'll be part of:
As our Videographer/Editor/Creative Content Strategists, you’ll work alongside our creative team to develop and create compelling video content that will help grow the Fireball name within the detailing industry and our national audience. You will play key roles in producing videos for marketing, web, and social content. We shoot video in studio, on location, at scenic destinations, live events, trade shows, car shows, dealerships, and have a large library of footage to pull from.
This is a creative role meaning you will have an extensive amount of creative input on the final product as long as you are within our brand guidelines. Once the team has shared their creative vision you should be able to work independently without a lot of guided direction. This opportunity allows you to demonstrate your skill and gives you the opportunities and resources to execute the latest video trends to make pieces you'll want to showcase in your portfolio.
What you'll be responsible for:
The Videographer/Editor/Creative Content Strategist is responsible for assisting with all storyboarding, scripting, pre-production, gaffing, production, and post-production of videos, podcasts, initiatives, trade show events, and training events. Must be able to create an intentional story, pace, and flow throughout each video while following our brand guide. The video editor will organize all footage, edit for YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Website, and work with Fireball’s marketing team to archive materials for future use (Social Post Pre-Scheduling).
- May need to work some nights and weekends to film events
- Travel for other miscellaneous video projects that may arise
- Be a storyteller with footage cuts, guiding the viewer with tasteful choices
- Color-correct from raw LOG footage to final graded color (Sony camera knowledge is a plus)
- Drone experience and licensing is a plus
- Use Essential Graphics kits to apply approved graphics quickly with easy repetition
- Elevate videos with professionally licensed songs that help build an emotional connection with our audience
- Maintain an organized footage library and be a good steward to our media
- Learn or have knowledge with Milanote or other storyboarding/concepting software.
- Utilize Adobe Stock, Soundbed, Storyblocks, Envato Elements, Artlist, MotionArray, Soundstripe, Shutterstock, Creative COW and AEScripts on a near-daily basis
- Must have knowledge using Adobe Creative Suite in a creative agency or production company environment (Premiere & After Effects)
- Ability to graciously take direction and efficiently implement feedback
- Ability to work independently and proactively to keep multiple projects moving, but also work as part of a more integrated team on larger initiatives
- Highly organized to keep project files nice and tidy for archives or handoffs
- Assist studio operations, working with lighting, audio mixers, and mics
- Support internal marketing teams in executing promos and short-form content from conception to completion
- Quality-control checks of final work, with attention to detail
- Must be able to handle critical deadlines and short turnarounds in a fast-paced environment
- Responsibilities:
- Oversees integrity of brand standards and guidelines across all media deliverables.
- Provides positive and constructive feedback to help grow the creative team and scope of work.
- Accurately conveys creative concepts in a comprehensive way, and coordinates with creative departments to deliver high-concept work to all platforms.
- Guides the creative process from preproduction to deliverables.
- Responsible for curating Fireball USA’s media content in a way that elevates and preserves the brands mission statement
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 55 per week
