The Registered Nurse- RN Charge Nurse position is responsible to perform professional nursing services in the care, and treatment of residents. This position is also responsible to supervise nursing assistants and be accountable for the overall management of the nursing unit.
Registered Nurse -RN Qualifications:
- The qualified candidate should have knowledge of professional theory and practice in the field of nursing and be able to demonstrate that knowledge.
- The qualified candidate must carry a current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio and be in good standing with the Ohio Board of Nursing.
- The qualified candidate will have a current CPR card
- The qualified candidate will have a compassionate heart for the residents and will work to make sure that they keep the residents clean and safe and treat them in a dignified manner.
- The qualified candidate must be able to understand, read, write and follow oral instructions in the English language.
Registered Nurse -RN Responsibilities:
- Supervision of direct care staff
- Rounding and assigning responsibility for direct care staff
- Provide treatments and medications as required per physician's orders
- Review medication and treatment records for completeness and accuracy
- Keep Clinical Mangers, and Director of Nursing informed of residents status changes and other related matters as they arise.
- Perform all other related duties as directed by the Clinical Managers, and Director of Nursing
