Primary Duty:
The Financial Analyst is responsible to assist with a wide variety of activities including the identification of requirements for project financials, while also assisting in the development of internal company software within procurement and other departments within the company.
Essential Job Functions:
The Financial Analyst will be assigned duties, based on organizational needs and priorities.
•Transform business requirements that drive new and enhanced financial solutions within the company.
•Assist in enhancing, implementing and developing the company system, utilizing nationally recognized purchasing software.
•Provide technical financial advice, knowledge, and methods of continual improvement in developing and improving internal processes.
•Foster strong communication and teamwork between all partners within the company to ensure success of assigned projects.
•Provide detailed data to other teams so that they have the tools and information that they need to work within the system.
•Assist in the design and training program of the software’s applications to provide financial data to assist the buying process.
•Maintain system efficiency and perform tasks efficiently, while working together with teams to ensure project success.
•Ensure design of system allows all components to work properly together.
•Perform other tasks as needed.

Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or Information Technology, or a closely related field.
•5 years’ experience in a financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, accounting and/or budgeting position.
•2-3 years’ performing duties that demonstrate/require good interpersonal skills and use of technology.
•Purchasing in a Wholesale Food Industry experience is a plus.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
