Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Front Desk Agent to join our team in a hotel setting. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service to our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include welcoming guests, assisting with check-in and check-out procedures, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a pleasant stay for all visitors.
Duties:
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival and provide a hospitable atmosphere
- Facilitate smooth check-in and check-out processes for guests
- Offer information regarding resort amenities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest queries efficiently and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
- Manage incoming calls using proper phone etiquette and direct them to the appropriate department or room
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and financial transactions
- Process payments securely and adhere to cash handling protocols
- Collaborate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are prepared for guest occupancy
- Support night audit activities when necessary
Experience:
- Prior experience in customer service or guest relations is advantageous
- Familiarity with hotel operations or hospitality management systems is a plus
- Proficient in phone communication with excellent etiquette
- Ability to speak multiple languages is beneficial
- Strong problem-solving skills and professionalism in handling challenging situations
