The insurance account executive position will hold dual responsibilities of acquiring new clients and managing existing client relationships. This position will act as a liaison between clients and insurance companies, ensuring clients receive appropriate coverage and personalized service. The account executive plays a crucial role in the overall success of the agency.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Relationship Management- Develop and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective clients. This will involve understanding their needs, assessing their risks, and providing a recommendation for suitable insurance solutions. Provide ongoing support for existing clients.
· Assessing Needs-The executive will assess current or prospective clients’ insurance needs on a consistent basis throughout the Plan year. They will consider factors like personal circumstances, philosophy, assets, current health needs, future health needs and past outcome of medical care as well as overall risks and affordability. Based on the assessment, they will recommend appropriate coverage options.
· Prospecting and Networking- Actively prospect for new clients through networking, reviewing existing clients’ additional needs, and other means. The account executive will be accountable for increasing applications and enrollments within the Agency. The account executive will network 10-15% of the time.
· Quoting and Renewals- Account executives generate quotes for individuals and handle renewals. In addition, the executive will handle administrative tasks related to policies such as various inquiries, claims processing, and other adjustments that are needed during the annual enrollment period to the policy.
· Record Keeping- Accurate record keeping is essential. Account executives maintain detailed records of sales activities, client contact information and other relevant data using CRM software using Agency standards.
· Staying Informed- Keeping up to date with industry trends, new products, and insurance companies’ procedural changes. In addition, they will keep track of the changes in the insurance industry to provide up to date information.
· Collaboration-Work collaboratively with other individuals within the Agency to address contact-related issues and improve those individuals’ experience. Attending designated Agency meetings with a positive attitude and adhering to our core values.
· Maintain and Promote Core Values- We live our values each day. Each interaction throughout the day will require promotion of our values. · Performs other duties as assigned
