Position Purpose:
The HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting the HR function of our US concepts while focusing on creating and implementing learning and development initiatives. This position is responsible for managing various HR functions, including onboarding, training, policy interpretation, performance management, and employee relations, with a primary focus on designing and delivering training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement learning and development programs to address the needs of employees at all levels within the company.
Collaborate with department managers and subject matter experts to identify training needs and create relevant content and materials.
Partner with operations leaders to improve/support operational training.
Deliver training sessions using a variety of methods including in-person and virtual training sessions.
Instill and support leaders in compliance with company policy, procedures, and documentation.
Support with direct follow-up for progressive disciple and employee relation investigations under the guidance of the People Partner.
Lead and encourage employee engagement efforts and initiatives.
Assist with talent acquisition processes, including coordination of onboarding activities.
Act as a HRIS champion to ensure complete utilization of technology, directly assisting with new implementations or updating existing ones.
Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years of HR experience, preferably in retail and/or hospitality
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred
