RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Chicago, IL that is seeking an IT Event Coordinator who will be instrumental in the organization and project management of the company's first annual Vendor Management Supplier Conference. This event is pivotal in our company's calendar, making the role crucial to its success.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute all aspects of the Vendor Management Supplier Conference through March 2025
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth event operations
- Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics
- Handle event marketing, promotions, and communications. With internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee on-site event setup, execution, and breakdown
- Address any issues or challenges during the planning and execution stages
- Provide post-event analysis and feedback to improve future events
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in event planning and management
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team and strong business acumen
- Proficiency in event management software and tools is a plus
Preferred:
- Experience in managing corporate or supplier events
- Familiarity with vendor management risk and performance processes
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
