Our client is a newly built, spacious level II trauma center in Fairfield County CT with dedicated parking for hospital staff. They are seeking several Critical Care Float Pool Nurses at this time. These RN's will coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the Nursing Process and following all established standards of practice within State and Federal guidelines. These nurses, provide supervision of non-RN personnel and act as a resource for ancillary staff on assigned unit. Nurses will float between the Emergency Department, ICU and Intermediate Care Unit. Additionally the RN will supervise unit activities when assigned to charge or clinical coordinator role. These Nurses will act as preceptor to new staff and/or students as requested. RN's will also provide safe and therapeutic care using the values inherent to the hospital culture. These positions will fill quickly so apply today. Shift: 3 shifts per week. The hours are 7:00 pm - 8:00 am or 7:00 AM to 8PM Rotating weekends and Holidays.
Required Skills
1) Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
2) Valid license as Registered Nurse in Connecticut.
3) BSN strongly preferred.
4) BLS certification required.
5) Maintain minimum of 6 contact hours annually.

Pay: $45.64 - $61.25 per hour
