The Bilingual Customer Service Specialist is the "front-line" for the Company's applicant questions and concerns. A successful Blingual Customer Service Specialist will manage inbound calls while ensuring outbound communications are effectively completed to move applications through the origination process, communicating in Spanish and English.
Key Responsibilities
Here are the key things this Bilingual Customer Service Specialist will be doing:
- Perform both inbound and outbound communications to the Company's partners, consumers, and customers via phone, email, web chat, and text messaging.
-Answer questions about loan products and terms and application processing.
- Intake and record consumer complaints following regulatory standards.
- Communicate in English and Spanish to Company's partners, consumers, and customers via phone, email, web chat, and text messaging.
- Work closely with Loan Originations and Account Management teams on borrower and school related communications.
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
- Work 40+ hours a week, including rotations through evening and weekend shifts
- Successfully complete all assigned compliance training
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Working closely with the Company's Customer Support and Loan origination teams, this person will meet the following requirements:
· 2-3 years of experience working in a call center environment
· Bilingual in Spanish & English
· Exemplary written and oral communication skills in both Spanish and English
· Banking or consumer lending experience is strongly preferred
· Ability to be able to work a flexible schedule include after-hours, weekends, and holidays when there is a business need
. Ability to travel to the Company's onsite location for work shifts and trainings as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $23.19 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
