This is a remote position that can be based anywhere within the US, but operates on Eastern Time.
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for identifying and qualifying sales opportunities for IMEC. The SDR role is critical to our growth strategy and will contribute greatly to our sales pipeline. IMEC continues to grow and we are looking for passionate, positive, driven and determined individuals to join our team. A partner to Sales, the SDR role is responsible for prospecting into targeted sectors and securing new business opportunities for the pipeline, ensuring IMEC’s continued growth and increased market share.
LOCATION
100% Remote - Anywhere within the US.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for building, maintaining, and achieving monthly/quarterly pipeline of qualified sales leads
- Generate conversations with potential buyers via phone and email outreach
- Ask targeted, intelligent questions to speak knowledgeably with C-suite and VP-level executives and decision makers
- Possess a firm understanding of IMEC and our offering
- Research prospect accounts and contacts, consistently capture data in HubSpot CRM
- Nurture prospect relationships
- Contribute to team goals and continuous improvement initiatives
- Complete detailed research within targeted accounts to identify key contacts & critical account information
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Minimum 2 years successful experience in Business Development for a SaaS organization
- Very strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator preferred
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with internal resources
- Ability to meet or exceed targets and quotas
- Ability to work remotely with access to high speed internet connection
Base Salary Circa $60K, plus commission. The compensation package depends on experience.
