Job Description:
The Benefits Coordinator will manage and administer employee benefits programs, ensuring our team members are well-informed and supported. This role includes negotiating with benefits providers, designing informational materials, and offering direct assistance to employees regarding their benefits packages, weekly reconciliations of accounts, upkeep of employee data in the company's HRIS, and other duties as needed focused on benefits management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Master Benefit Packages: Become an expert in the company’s current and evolving benefit packages.
- Provider Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with benefit providers to negotiate competitive packages.
- Employee Communication: Ensure all employees are well-informed about their benefit options through effective communication.
- Informational Materials: Create and distribute clear and comprehensive materials to explain benefit options to employees.
- Package Distribution: Prepare and distribute benefits packages in advance of enrollment periods.
- Employee Assistance: Offer answers and support to employees with any benefit-related questions or issues.
- Form Review: Review employee-submitted forms for accuracy and completeness.
- Effective Communication: Use basic office equipment and software to manage benefits-related information and communicate effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) certification (preferred)
- CMS (Compensation Management Specialist) certification (preferred)
- GBA (Group Benefits Associate) certification (preferred)
- RPA (Retirement Plans Associate) certification(preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and related systems
- Experience utilizing Paycom HRIS (required)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Exceptional attention to detail

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
