Senior Graphic Designer establishes and promotes the association’s messaging, brand, products, services, education programs and special events through graphic design for digital and print production. Directs, plans and produces multimedia materials to improve member and consumer engagement. Senior Graphic Designer collaborates on initiatives to improve user experience related to events, programs and member benefits. Senior Graphic Designer works with a collaborative team responsible for ongoing website design and content enhancements.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
Reports directly to the Director of Communications
RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:
- Oversees all design projects, from conception to delivery
- Designs original pieces, including illustrations and infographics
- Reviews all design work to ensure high-quality
- Refines images, fonts, and layouts using graphic design software
- Generates ideas to portray concepts and advertise products/services
- Increases usability in digital products making them more understandable and manageable for our members
- Maintains brand consistency throughout all marketing communications projects
- Stays up to date with industry developments and tools
Qualifications and Skills
- Portfolio of completed design projects.
- Experience with image editing software, like Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- Proficient in design software (e.g., InDesign and Balsamiq).
- Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine an assortment of colors, fonts, and layouts.
- Superior attention to visual details.
- Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team.
- Special projects as needed; other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
BS degree in Design, Visual Arts, or relevant field
EXPERIENCE:
- Five (5) years’ work experience as a Senior Designer, Graphic Designer, or similar role.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
- Experience with image editing software - Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
- Proficient in design software (e.g., InDesign and Balsamiq)
- Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine an assortment of colors, fonts, and layouts
- Superior attention to visual details
- Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team
- Ability to interact effectively with executives, staff, volunteer leaders and members
