Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Responsibilities:
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
- Capability to stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity to perform therapeutic exercises and techniques
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Licensure: Current Texas PTA license
- Experience: Previous experience in a home health setting preferred, but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Certification: Current CPR certification.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of physical therapy principles, techniques, and methods.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
