Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. The Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for helping in the procurement process and ensuring the timely delivery of materials and supplies. The ideal candidate has a strong background in supply chain management and experience in supplier management.
Duties:
- Oversee the day to day and long-term operation of all company Store and Supply rooms.
- Create, track, handle and manage purchase orders from start to finish for vendors
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies
- Maintain order quantities, stocking quantities, and minimum numbers of inventory items
- Troubleshoot issues that arise using advance knowledge of our ERP system and Product catalog
- Assists other Purchasing employees in their day-to-day tasks
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure new items included on Bills of Materials are stocked to appropriate levels
Experience:
- Degree in supply chain management or similar degree or 5+ years experience.
- Proven experience in purchasing or procurement roles
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to secure favorable terms with suppliers
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Hours are Monday through Thursday 7:00am-4:30pm and Fridays 7:30am-12:00pm
Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
