Concrete Foreman and a Concrete Finisher.
The Concrete Foreman is responsible for laying out the job and running the crew. This is a working foreman role overseeing all aspects and phases of concrete work from forming to flatwork. Multiple projects in various phases will be running at the same time. Our projects range from new concrete on residential construction from the ground up to doing additions such as driveways, patios, and sidewalks.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage Project by performing on-site coordination of manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure that the concrete structure are accurately placed and installed.
- Be able to communicate and coordinate with a project manager to ensure work is completed according to the plans and specifications.
- Produce a schedule and monitor attendance of a crew.
- Manage and mentor small to midsize crews successfully and collaboratively.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate employees.
- Allocate general and daily responsibilities of a crew and provide overall guidance.
- Ability to manage a variety of residential/commercial concrete projects.
- Inspect forms before each pour and verify measurements and layout.
- Oversee all activities pertaining to concrete preparation, placement, installation, finishing, and curing.
- Maintain accurate records of yardage poured.
- Be able to calculate and request the material needed for the scope of work.
- Ability to plan day-to-day operations, as well as work with management to forecast schedules.
- Work collaboratively with all other trades and superintendent to complete each job.
- Oversee storing and maintenance of forms and materials.
- Layout footings, tie rebar, and strip forms
- Working with concrete crew setting forms and assisting with concrete pour and finishing
- Verifying that grade and elevation is correct according to plan during layout
- Spreading abc to proper grade
- Loading and unloading various machinery used for concrete placement and finish.
- Driving various tractors and excavators is a plus.
- Operating motorized equipment including power trowels, saws, etc
- Be a problem solver.

- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Drug Free -You must be able to pass a drug screening. Random drug testing will be paid for by the company.
- Must have reliable transportation to get to and from various job locations.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently without direct supervision.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be on-call to address delays, emergencies, bad weather, and other issues at the job site.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent and three years of experience in related role.

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
