GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Sales Associate will be responsible to perform a wide variety of duties in the store. They will maintain order and create and sustain a pleasant and hospitable work environment and maintain good customer relationships.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist in creating a pleasant work environment.
2. Assist, as required, with store operations.
3. Serve all customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
4. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
5. Employee will hold a key to the Thrift Store to unlock and lock the front door prior to and after the store is closed.
6. Properly use the cash register for all sales including cash and credit cards.
7. Close out the register at the end of the day, make out the deposit slip, and take the deposit to the night drop off box.
8. Complete required KeepSAfe training as defined by the KeepSAfe policy and as assigned by supervisor.

Expected hours: No more than 29 per week
Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
