Position Summary:
- The primary function of this job is to provide administrative and technical assistance to the Drilling Manager and Drilling Engineer.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Processing and distributing daily drilling reports
- Filing water board, completion reports, plugging reports and additional filings with the Texas Railroad Commission
- Reviewing, coding and filing invoices
- Processing Authorization for Expenditures (AFE's), letters and drilling prognosis
- Other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years' administrative experience in the oil and gas industry
- Minimum of 2 years' experience filing reports with the Texas Railroad Commision
- Minimum of 2 years' experience coding and processing invoices
- Experience processing AFE's
- Working knowledge of Excel and Word
- Experience with Open Invoice a plus
- Must be able to communicate effectively with employees at multiple locations, vendors, contractors and consultants
- Detail oriented and able to meet deadlines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
