Overview
Our client is a faith-based, multi-campus non-profit organization focused on assisting families realize a better life. The Executive Director is responsible for providing the vision, leadership and management of resources to ensure the organizational mission is accomplished. This position requires the use of independent judgment and discretion in the administration, integration and monitoring of all programs, fundraising efforts, and inter-agency collaboration. The Executive Director is responsible to the Board of Directors and all licensing and funding agencies for the fiscal, administrative, and service-providing activities. The Executive Director acts as the official spokesperson for the company.
Essential Functions
· Maintain and expand funding from current funding partners as well as income from individuals, events and governmental grants.
· Knowledgeable and competent in administration and budgeting functions.
· Experienced in researching, applying for, and advocating for funding sources, including grant writing, grant management, community fundraising, and ensuring fundraising events are planned and implemented.
· Oversee the design, printing, and distribution of marketing and communication materials to maximize fund development efforts.
· Responsible for the design and implementation of fund development.
· Coordinate Strategic Plan development with the Board of Directors and be responsible for the implementation and management of the Strategic Plan.
· Diversify and develop programs based on the needs of client families and children.
· Build local level collaborative relationships to provide additional resources.
· Oversee the preparation and presentation of regular operational and financial.
· Attend workshops and related training to maintain professional development in delivering services to homeless families.
· Speak regularly to community organizations to enhance visibility in the community and encourage charitable donations.
· Manage, analyze and maximize the use of technology and systems to ensure organizational integrity.
· Quarterly contact with faith-based trustees encouraging regular communication to maintain continued involvement and financial support.
Education and Experience
· High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
· Ten or more years of progressively responsible professional managerial experience with preferred five or more at the senior leadership level.
· Positive track record with a non-profit organization.

Accountability
· Ensure the Board of Directors, trustees, and the community are informed regularly about the activities through submitting formal written reports.
· Ensure all contractual reporting requirements are completed in a timely manner.
· Ensure the organization is operating within the Board-approved budget and utilizing practices of sound financial planning, accounting and control.
· Detailed knowledge of state, federal and local requirements regarding funding, program management and administrative standards.
· Detailed knowledge of federal, state, local and private funding processes.
Mental and Physical Abilities
· Ability to read, write and communicate in English language.
· Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
· Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 pounds) 5 - 10% of work time.
· Duties are usually performed seated.
· Ability to meet attendance requirements, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays are required. The nature of our mission requires the Executive Director to be available to Program Managers and families in need outside of normal work hours.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
