Duties:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in accordance with the curriculum guidelines.
- Provide instruction in mathematics to students of various grade levels.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on their performance.
- Utilize educational technology and resources to enhance learning experiences.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities.
- Provide academic advising and guidance to students regarding course selection and career paths.
- Mentor and support students in their academic, personal, and social development.
- Offer tutoring sessions to students who need additional assistance in understanding mathematical concepts.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of mathematics concepts and principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline.
- Proficient in using educational technology tools for instruction.
- Strong organizational skills to plan lessons, assessments, and activities.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies for supporting students with learning disabilities or special needs.
- Experience in conducting scientific research or utilizing research findings to inform instructional practices.
