Join our dedicated team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with an administrative focus. In this unique role, you will blend nursing insight with administrative acumen to contribute to the smooth operation of our facility, ensuring a high-quality living environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:

Coordinate appointments and manage scheduling for residents' medical visits.

Assist in managing residents' medical records ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Handle phone inquiries, provide information, and direct calls to appropriate personnel.

Participate in the preparation and maintenance of reports and other administrative documents as required.
Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for our residents.

Document communications with healthcare providers, families, and other relevant entities.
Communication:

Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.

Participate in care conferences and family meetings, providing insights and updates on administrative matters related to residents' care.
Education and Health Promotion:

Educate residents and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and other relevant topics from an administrative perspective.

Assist in the development and implementation of wellness and recreational programs for residents.
Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the provision of high-quality care and smooth administrative operations.

Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:

Adhere to federal, state, and facility policies, procedures, and regulations.

Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and secure environment for residents and staff.
Qualifications:

Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license from the state board of nursing.

Previous experience in an administrative role within an assisted living, long-term care, or similar healthcare setting.

Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

Proficiency with medical software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Hours:
Monday - Friday: 2pm -10:30pm
