Job Summary:
Provides administrative support to the Corporate Manager, Human Resources on all personnel matters and assists with payroll processing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Employee relations, answering/developing solutions for employee/manager/outside agency issues and questions,
- Plan/execute organizational changes while the security of information, data and files.
- Maintain employee file records: changes in employee status, performance and discipline documents, etc., in timely manner.
- Prepare paperwork needed to create new employee profile and to place new employee on payroll. Assist in maintenance of employee directory and company organization charts.
- Coordinate volunteer and staff training events or programs and recommend resources, as needed.
- Assist Corporate Manager, Human Resources to organize company functions/events.
- Assist in coordinating open enrollment, health fairs, and other benefits activities.
- Administer and monitor new hire orientation programs.
- Handle time-sensitive issues that arise in the absence of the Corporate Manager, Human Resources
- Participate in hiring process activities: e.g., posting ads on job board or website, reviewing applications and maintaining a tracking spreadsheet on job applicants.
- Interact regularly with employees, department heads, and job applicants to supply critical information.
- Oversee/coordinate leave program, leave tracking, management reports, workers compensation claims, and return to work programs to ensure proper, timely completion.
- Completes initial worker’s comp reporting, accident investigations, communication work restrictions, claim adjuster correspondence, tracking and claim review analysis for settlements.
- Create termination packages, conduct exit interviews and complete assigned terminations, ensuring all termination paperwork is complete
- Prepare source documentation needed for new hires, or changes in pay, status, or benefits.
- Communicate benefits changes to new hires and employees.
- Keep current on HR issues/trends, as well as matters within the organization related to HR department.
- Performs other duties as assigned and required by department
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources management
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Experience in talent acquisition and performance management
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement HR strategies
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and other relevant compliance requirements
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Professional In Human Resources (Preferred)
