The Inpatient Social Worker is responsible for managing the clinical treatment activities offered and provided to patients by ensuring excellence in standards of clinical care for children/adolescents, adults, older adults. The Social Worker plays a key role in promoting a positive and constructive work environment through flexibility, organization, initiative, collaboration/support, identification, and communication to DCS on areas of need, and problem solving all to ensure the best possible care for the patients of Beaumont Behavioral Health. Primary duties include, but not limited to assessments, facilitating groups, completing group notes, treatment team meetings, discharge planning, and completing master treatment plans.
Beaumont Behavioral Health: A bright and beautiful new 144-bed behavioral health facility, Beaumont Behavioral Hospital provides a full continuum of inpatient services to our community, including specialty programs to serve adolescents, adults and older adults, and perform behavioral health assessments 24 hours a day. Additionally, programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues will be offered to meet the unique needs of patients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: MSWs are required
License: LMSW is preferred, but willing to consider LLMSW with experience
Experience: Requires at least 1 to 3 years’ experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills.
This full-time position is for a hospital and working a weekend and holiday rotation should be expected.
