United Dairy Farmers is looking for full-time Maintenance Technician (Industrial/Manufacturing) to work 4am - 2:30pm, Wed - Sat at our Bakery in Blue Ash. Great starting pay rates plus a $2,000 Sign-On- Bonus.
Sign-On Bonus of $2,000 will be paid in $500 increments after 6 months-9 months- 12months-15months (good attendance is required to be eligible for Sign-On Bonus).
This position is an integral part of the maintenance team working to maximize the effectiveness, compliance, and day to day function of the bakery and distribution center and support company -wide operations by performing a wide range of duties which include installing, repairing, and maintaining the facility and manufacturing equipment by helping to ensure that the equipment and systems can deliver at expected efficiency. The role will assist the maintenance supervisor with all equipment maintenance functions as they relate to the manufacture of donuts and bakery products and distribution of high perishable products.
Duties & Responsibilities

· Be a positive role model to all associates through your words, actions and appearance, and lead by example mindset. Must work with a purpose, set, meet and exceed all equipment maintenance and preventative expectations.
· Visually inspect, test and clean machinery and equipment as need for proper operation
· Ensure that all HACCP and CCP guidelines as established by QA are followed.
· Assist the supervisor in the start of the shift by ensuring all equipment will start up as needed to meet production requirements
· Detect any malfunction of equipment, troubleshoot and diagnose problems , performing the repairs to ensure high reliability
· Complete all required maintenance WO (work orders) through accurate reporting into the maintenance MP2 System.
· Disassemble defective machinery and equipment, install new or repaired parts.
· Perform regular and preventative maintenance, repairs, improvements, and related project work on production equipment, facility, and utility systems in accordance with maintenance standards, keeping a safe and sanitary work environment.
· Work in conjunction with maintenance supervisor and team members, operations and sanitation team to identify and correct any safety or equipment issues in order to facilitate a safe and problem free environment.
· Willingness to work off shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed and in emergency situations.
· Self-motivated, quick learner who likes solving problems and fixing things with a positive attitude.
· Knowledge of basic electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, welding and fabrication, and food processing equipment function and maintenance.
· Must be capable to follow written and verbal instructions in order to perform assigned maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
· Has a Hight School Diploma or Trade School study in machinery, Industrial Machinery Mechanics, HVAC Mechanics, etc. preferred.
· 5+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic/tech or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
· 3 years’ experience in electrical
· Experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Ensure any rework of raw materials and finished goods is conducted as outlined in the product defect specifications
· Enforce all employee GMP adherence policies and procedures.
· Communicate any employee attendance call out to operations supervisor/
· Report any associate performance issue to operations supervisor.
· Any and all other reasonable job duties as assigned by management
