The ideal candidate should possess common sense, be detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, have a customer service-oriented mindset, handle demanding tenant maintenance-related calls, coordinate with vendors, schedule appointments, and have computer skills, and must have a minimum of 2 years of property management maintenance experience.
Job Description:
- Track and document all work using multiple online platforms, requiring advanced computer skills
- Answer all incoming emails and calls from property managers and tenants
- Assign vendors for repairs on all properties after checking open work orders in Yardi
- Close out work orders upon completion and follow up with property managers to ensure satisfaction
- Monitor the SAS emergency line portal for calls made by tenants and/or managers after hours
- Keep a daily record of all pending and completed work orders
- Send friendly maintenance reminders to managers as needed
- Post charges to tenant ledgers and include copy of invoice and Tenant Chargeback letter
- Provide assistance to maintenance manager and supervisor when necessary
- Review and approve maintenance-related invoices
- Follow up with residents to confirm completion of service requests
- Other tasks as assigned by management
Qualification:
- A minimum of 2 years of property management maintenance experience
- Exceptional customer service ability and positive attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and proven track record of organizational excellence
- Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Yardi
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Previous property management and maintenance work experience preferred
- Proven problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills
