We are looking for an Outside Sales Lead Coordinator to work in local Big Box Retail locations and be responsible for leading the pipeline of potential customers of garage door installations and service needs. Service areas will include Duluth, Perimeter, Brookhaven, Dallas, Stockbridge, Cumming, Alpharetta, Town Center, Woodstock, The Office
This position requires a flexible schedule with some weekend work and requires travel 40-80% of the time depending on seasons. When not travelling, the candidate will be required to work from the office located in Marietta, GA supporting the CS and Sales teams.
Responsibilities
- A sales-driven, goal-oriented, self-motivated personality and a positive attitude.
- Generate new leads and follow up with potential leads.
- Meet with customers onsite to provide them with product information and project plans.
- Clearly communicate with technicians and other team members regarding upcoming and ongoing installation/service jobs.
- Provide customers/contractors with the appropriate forms and documents to prepare for installation.
- Act as liaison between customer and technicians as needed.
- Attend Home shows, networking events, and other company events as needed.
- Execute sales efforts in an ethical and professional manner, assuring favorable impression of self and the company.
- Close and grow sales through professional communication with existing and prospective customers. Identify opportunities where we can make conversions and take orders.
- Effectively present our products and services and can overcome barriers to close the sale by clearly communicating the features, benefits, and value of our products, services, and company.
- Manage and interpret customer requirements – speaking with customers to understand, anticipate and meet their needs. Assists customers with problem solving, product selection and pricing – as well as any point-of-sale materials.
- Attend customer functions including (but not limited to) trade shows, contractor events, and Parade homes.
- Maintain knowledge of industry and competitor products. Identify and report on competitor strategies, products, and trends.
- Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner while utilizing scripts to handle difficult customer situations
- Communicate with customers through various channels such as email and chat
- Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives
- Maintain records of customer interaction, transactions, comments, complaints
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
- 1 year previous experience in a customer service and/or sales role
- Willingness/ability to engage with customers within an in-store setting.
- Strong verbal communication skills along with active listening
- Ability to maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers and employees at all times
- Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
- Willingness/ability to work evenings, weekends and some holidays.
- High school degree
