Summary
The Insurance Specialist position requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in insurance sales and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in inside sales and be proficient in negotiation techniques with a focus in Auto & Fire sales. Fluency in Spanish is a premium skill that will be highly beneficial in this role, along with the ability to engage in sales administration tasks. The candidate should also possess relevant skills in customer service and benefits administration. The ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish will be essential for interacting with a diverse customer base. This role will involve lead generation, sales, and providing top-notch customer service while adhering to insurance regulations.
BASE PAY - 33K-35K + 2-4% UNCAPPED COMMISSIONS
MUST HAVE A PERSONAL LINES OR P&C LICENSE
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients seeking insurance coverage
- Assist clients in understanding their insurance options and making informed decisions
- Conduct insurance policy reviews and recommend appropriate coverage based on client needs
- Process insurance applications, endorsements, and renewals accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to resolve any policy-related issues or concerns
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and changes in insurance policies
Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and insurance carriers
- Ability to negotiate and explain complex insurance terms and policies to clients
- Knowledge of sales administration processes, including lead generation, prospecting, and closing deals
