In anticipation of upcoming award, Palladium International is seeking expressions of interest for the following role.
Place of Performance: Luzon, Philippines
Estimated Period of Performance: 2 months
Overtime will be paid after 48 hours worked in a week (Monday-Sunday). Overtime will be paid at 150% agreed hourly rate.
Holiday pay will be paid in accordance with US Federal holidays. Holiday pay will be paid at 200% agreed hourly rate.
Job Description:
- Conducts planning and scheduling of maintenance and services for all assigned equipment.
- Responsible for Hand Receipt Holder for tools, equipment, and spare parts assigned to the section.
- Utilizes Global Combat Support-Army (GCSS-Army) to manage daily maintenance related functions
- Monitors work orders/production on all assigned equipment requiring corrective action.
- Responsible for the tracking of equipment services, preventative maintenance checks and services (PMCS), administrative services, and unscheduled maintenance activities.
- Ensures daily reporting is annotated with current and updated information.
- Responsible for physical/personnel security, supply and maintenance management operations as it pertains to assigned equipment.
- Responsible for tracking recoverable items to ensure compliance with exchange pricing (EP)/ recoverable items program.
- Manages bench stock in accordance with applicable regulations. Perform additional tasks or other responsibilities, such as Safety Representative, Quality Representative, etc.
- Conducts scheduled and unscheduled services on Non-Tactical and Tactical Equipment in accordance with current applicable Technical Manual (TM) -10, -20, and -30 level maintenance on various vehicle systems,
- Follows TM service/lube order criteria, and perform weekly and monthly PMCS,
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots malfunctions, performs field-level
maintenance on the engines, transmissions, and power train major assemblies and components, vehicular mounted environmental control systems, fuel system components, suspension systems, steering systems, hydraulic systems, fire extinguisher/suppression systems, vehicular-mounted armament, gun turret drive system, and the fire control system on the Stryker Family of Tactical Vehicles.
- Performs vehicle test drives and testing of components and systems using equipment such as infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges, and computerized diagnostic devices.
- Uses, maintain, and handles shop power tools.
- Follows repair procedures using Maintenance Allocation Charts (MAC), as well as USG and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) technical manuals.
- Performs routine and scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups.
- Disassembles units and inspect parts for wear, using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Performs battlefield damage, assessment, and repair.
- Under direction of the Operations Manager, be prepared to assist in download/upload of vehicles and equipment on and off vessels as required.
- Be prepared to help all other Team Members as directed, including non-Palladium staff, Local National workers and prime contractor staff.

Education/Certifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred. Must provide copy of diploma.
- MOS or civilian trade qualification in US Army MOS 63B Wheel Mechanic or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a U.S.
Government Motor Vehicle Operator’s License and Host Nation Heavy Driver’s License.
- 608/609 Certification preferred
Experience/Qualifications:
- Approximately three (3) years’ experience in Tactical and Non-tactical Vehicle (NTV) maintenance at the journeyman level, with at least two (2) years of supervisory experience.
- Must understand and be well-versed in the performance of organizational, direct, and general support maintenance of tactical wheeled vehicles and non-tactical vehicles.
- Must have knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance.
- Familiar with the use of Military electronic or paper version of technical manuals.
- Ability to read, analyze, understand, and interprets blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, reports, technical publications, and documents.
- The ability to troubleshoot, determining causes of operating errors and deciding on the proper course(s) of action.
- Must have excellent communications skills, both written and oral, in English.
- Ability to work in a diverse workforce.
- Requires a collaborative work style, fostering cooperation and teamwork.
- Must exercise discretion and good sound judgement.
- Knowledgeable of the Army Maintenance Management Principles and Standards.
- Knowledgeable of physical security of government issued equipment.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal skills; must be customer-oriented and divers.
- Ability to handle confidential company and employee information with complete discretion.
- Ability to work effectively with employees and management of all levels to include multi-national staff, superiors, and ranking military officers and non-commissioned officers.
- Must have good understating in the use of MS Office other related applications.
