JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the C.H.O.I.C.E.S Director, assesses youth, adult, and family needs; develops and implements individualized treatment plans; implements interventions that facilitate youth, family, and adult progress toward specific goals and objectives; participates in multi-disciplinary case staffing and utilizes caseload management systems; conducts individual, family and group counseling sessions as well as adults in accordance with professional standards; collaborates with appropriate agencies and parties within the community and the Wayne County Juvenile Justice system; and performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: master’s level counselor/social worker. CAADC certification a must. Experience providing individual/family/group therapy to diverse populations including adults required. Previous experience with juvenile justice for youth and adults. Adequate transportation for frequent home visits a must along with a valid driver’s license and auto-insurance.
Proof of registration and licensure within defined area. Strong computer skills. Effective communication both written and verbal.
