We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting customers, providing product information, and helping customers make informed purchasing decisions. The Retail Sales Associate will also be expected to maintain the store's visual appeal and ensure a clean and organized shopping environment. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a friendly and outgoing personality, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist customers in finding the right product for their needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Offer advice and product comparisons to facilitate their purchase decisions
- Up-sell additional products (ie. accessories, hair care tools, etc)
- Inform customers about discounts and special offers
- Checkout customers with POS system and accept cash, credit, and debit cards
- Maintain a comfortable and welcoming store environment
- Provide customer feedback to the owners
Store Management
- Count and report the cash register
- Accept and store new inventory shipments
- Manage inventory and refill store with new products
- Manage merchandise returns and exchanges
- Maintain a clean and orderly store environment
- Arranging products on display units
Requirements
- Experience as a retail sales associate or similar customer service position (preferred)
- Available to work Monday - Friday 12 PM - 6 PM Sat. 12 PM - 4 PM
- Steady and reliable transportation
- Experience managing a cash register
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Patient and comfortable dealing with complaints and feedback
- Good physical endurance
- Tech-savvy with device applications and electronic systems
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 25 per week
