GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
All Server 3 (Server, Bartenders, and Baristas) are responsible for assisting in the execution of an event. They shall perform the duties assigned to them by the Event Lead and actively contribute as an integral part of the team. Duties will include event set-up, food/beverage service, event breakdown, and the care and packing of equipment, décor, and food.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Uphold the high standards of 24 Carrots’ handbook and policies
2. Maintain safety and organization at events
3. Read and understand all banquet event orders
4. Familiar with the menu and prepared to explain it to guests
5. Stay on task and work effectively
6. Be proactive in anticipating the needs of the client and their guests
7. Help with set-up and breakdown of tables, chairs, linens, flatware, and glassware
8. Help with loading/unloading vehicles
9. Maintain and replenish event tables accordingly
10. Balance and carry trays of food and beverages
11. Serve, pour, and bus beverages
12. ID guests consuming alcohol
13. Help with cleanup
14. Remain positive, friendly, and possess excellent communication skills
15. Only have work appropriate conversations
16. Possess listening skills with the ability to follow instructions closely
17. Possess a service attitude that is logical, detailed, and organized
18. Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure and objectivity in stressful situations

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
1. One to three months related experience and/or training
2. Reliable transportation required
3. ServSafe certification within 30 days of hire.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
1. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
2. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
3. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
4. Ability to speak and understand English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
1. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
2. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
1. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
2. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
