Director of Clinical Consulting- SimiTree Behavioral Health (Fully Remote)
The
Director of Clinical Consulting is responsible for creating and leading the clinical consulting division within
behavioral consulting and will report to the Vice President, Behavioral Consulting. The Director will manage a team of consultants and analysts, serve as a subject matter expert for a variety of client projects, manage complex projects, and other duties to ensure superior client care.

To provide our clients with an opportunity to focus on core operations, SimiTree provides outsourcing services for Coding and OASIS reviews, Billing and Collections, and full Revenue Cycle services. SimiTree's client base ranges from small, community-based agencies to publicly traded national chains. Responsibilities
- Manage division resources within allocated budget
- Prospect new client business opportunities
- Manage project plans that align with contracted scope, timeline, and budget
- Manage client and executive team relationships throughout the lifecycle of projects
- Implement solutions that have been developed to accommodate healthcare business and management processes, regulatory requirements, and other business needs
- Assess current state workflows and work with the client to validate a proposed future state that aligns with the overall project objectives
- Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems
- Serve as SME on regulatory affairs (CARF, Joint Commission, CoA)
- Provide expert clinical evaluations and solutions including patient medical records, clinical processes, clinical leadership, and training
- Support other departments through clinical consultations
- Travel to conferences and client meetings. Estimated travel up to 25%.
Requirements
- Master's degree in social work, mental health counseling, psychiatric nursing or related field
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, or Licensed Psychologist
- Eight years' experience in a clinical leadership, consulting, or regulatory role
- Experience managing a team
- Expert knowledge of regulatory bodies. CARF and/or Joint Commission preferred
- Strong clinical knowledge including biopsychosocial assessment, treatment planning, diagnostics, and documentation
Education Requirements:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Experience in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and DEA
Salary range/ Benefits:
$120,000- $150,000
The compensation scale listed is a general salary range and is not intended to represent the actual annual or hourly compensation rate for this role. An offer will be made to the selected candidate at the conclusion of the interview process based on their relevant experience and the responsibilities of the position.
