Main responsibilities
- Demolitions, new installs, alterations, interconnective machine wiring and repairs of electrical
systems:
▪ Various types of process machines in industrial and automotive plants
▪ Conveyor systems
▪ Data, controls and PLC’s
▪ Conduit and wiring systems
▪ Cable trays and multi conductor cables
▪ Transformers, switches, sensors, relays, starters, motors, etc.
▪ LED task lighting system
▪ Low and medium voltage power distribution systems
- Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications and national and local codes.
- Prepare sketches showing location of wiring and equipment, or follow diagrams or blueprints, ensuring that work is installed as required.
- Observe functions of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for
adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
- Paperwork (time sheets, change orders, safety reports, accident reports, etc)
- Assist with estimation of new projects and opportunities.
Experience and qualifications required
- Work on energized circuits and equipment as outlined in Safety Policy
- Understanding and current knowledge of NEC rules and codes
- Experience of scoping jobs and ordering materials
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently without supervision and meet tight deadlines
- Able to deal with people tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
- Must be willing to travel
- Coordinate eye-hand movements
- Use hands and fingers fully
- Reach for, manipulate, and handle objects
- Stoop, lay, bend, squat, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl for unforeseeable periods of time
- Climb and maintain body balance on ladders, scaffolding, or other high structures
- See and hear well (either naturally or with correction)
- Lift and carry objects weighing up to 75lbs

Pay: $36.00 - $50.29 per hour
